Does anybody know what the serial number on my snare drum means S/N:38-1982
Was it made in 1982?
It is a 6-1/2 X 14, Maple in solid black
Any guess how much it is worth?

SS=solid shell, which they don't make anymore. could be worth some money if in good condition or better.

Yes they do. I just got one myself about 9 months ago, a 5x14, and as far as I know they're still available in 3.5, 5, and 7" depths. Sounds amazing too!

Yep! Mine is just killer. Kind of wish they'd make a 5 1/2" depth though. Something about that extra half-inch...

I just got a Noble & Cooley Alloy Classic 5"X14"
How much do you think it is worth on e-bay?
I might sell it.
